L4Deeper impact
Deeper impact: The Herald says the vote ends "the county’s history of potential pay raises failing at the ballot box."
L5Full context
Full context: "The charter currently fixes that salary at $6,000 a year, though multiple pay supplements have commissioners earning about $83,000 annually." "About a dozen pay-raise charter amendments have failed since the 1960s." (Miami Herald). Results are unofficial and incomplete until certified.
